Nicola Barnard

Founder and Principal Coach

Nicola was born in Manchester England, and spent her early years in North Wales, where she found her singing voice, in true Welsh style.  Immigrating to Australia with her family, Nicola gained an early awareness of cultural and social diversity.  Believing that her path lay in the Medical Industry, as with many of her family, Nicola initially pursued a career as a Medical Scientist. During this time, however, she developed her performance skills as a Soprano in a Chorale, Gilbert & Sullivan productions and as a vocalist in a Rock'n'Roll band, in addition to a number of solo engagements.

Believing that she had more to offer people, Nicola gave up a successful career as a Scientist for one as an Image Professional. Although the occupations are quite diverse, Nicola applies her unique talent blend of analysis and aesthetics to add immeasurable value to her clients.

Nicola is the founder and current VP Education of the Australian Chapter of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). The internationally recognised professional association for image professionals. Nicola is accredited by her peers as First Level Certified.

Nicola is the first Image Professional in the Southern Hemisphere to be trained as a Fashion Feng Shui Facilitator in New York. A tool utilising Feng Shui principles to attract positive outcomes in our lives by consciously choosing what we wear.
